This is a senior position in the organisation. The Finance Director is responsible for the provision of efficient effective and high quality integrated financial services to all components of the organisation. The Finance Director works closely with other department directors and program managers to fulfill the goals and objectives of the project. The Finance Director is accountable for the financial operations of the organisation to include the development of a financial strategy and the on-going development of monitoring control systems designed to preserve organisational assets.

The Finance Director is responsible for the accounting operations of the organisation working with and through national staff to produce accurate financial reports and increasing understanding of a system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk enhance the accuracy of reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles and international financial reporting standards.
