We are seeking a full-time Pastor of Central Ministries who will report to the Senior Pastor. You will oversee the life and direction of the fellowship as a member of the Executive Team and will supervise portfolio directors and Family Ministries (Youth and Kids).You will be an effective communicator with strong expository preaching skills and the ability to develop other preachers within the church. You will have experience as a ministry leader with a proven track record of preaching shepherding and overseeing multiple ministries in a growing church. You will be passionate about this unique opportunity to reach the nations able to adapt to change and eager to lead in a vibrant international context.

You will have experience of serving in senior leadership as a pastor and be theologically trained preferably to masters level. You will also have extensive experience in regular expository preaching along with strong team management and pastoral skills. You will be able to inspire others to find their gifts. Experience of working in an international context with an understanding of cross-cultural challenges is preferred.

You will demonstrate a strong personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a love for His church along with a commitment to ongoing spiritual development. You will be mature and led by the Holy Spirit.Eight years of pastoral experience are required of which three must have been in a similar role. You will be experienced in performing weddings funerals baptisms and baby dedications and well versed in conducting counselling sessions.

Paediatrician

Started as a community health and development project this organisation has expanded to include a 150-bed hospital training for midwives and nurses a research hub and an English-speaking school for children up to grade 10. The project has a holistic approach which seeks spiritual physical social and emotional transformation.

The hospital has a busy paediatric department with over 2500 deliveries per year and a busy outpatient and inpatient unit for general paediatrics as well as an inpatient and outpatient unit for disabled children. They are looking for a paediatrician to replace the existing long-term consultant who is retiring this year thus ensuring a quality service for the rural poor and helping give clinical leadership to a team of 3 senior and 2-3 junior national doctors. A senior trainee would also be suitable and would find an extended stay (several months) stimulating and fulfilling.

Doctors are needed who are prepared to meet clinical needs as they arise as well as to contribute to training. Those with research interests will find opportunities to work on existing projects.

Physio/Occupational Therapist

There is a paediatric rehabilitation department which treats mainly children with cerebral palsy but also children with other disabilities. There is a clubfoot program and assistive devices are produced on location.

The hospital operates a rehabilitation unit for disabled children for up to 6 inpatients and over 1500 outpatients both at the hospital and in remote community clinics. Adult therapy services are offered for in- and out-patients. The project is seeking a physiotherapist or occupational therapist to give clinical support and guidance to our local therapy assistants in all three therapy disciplines. Other paramedical nursing and medical staff are also sought. A commitment of at least 1 year is preferable.

Some clinical experience is preferred. A successful applicant should be prepared to meet clinical needs as they arise as well as contribute to training. Those with research interests will find opportunity to work on existing projects.

You will hold a good relevant degree or professional qualification although equivalent experience will be considered.
